SESSION 2
Everyday Faith & God's Calling
This session defines what it means to say we are called by God and we have a vocation to share God's love, and looks the roots of this.
SESSION 3
Everyday Faith Expressed in the Bible
This session explores the call of God to God's people in Scripture. It begins by looking at the call of Abraham in the Old Testament and then moves on to the call of Paul in the New Testament.
SESSION 4
Discipleship: Essential to Everyday Faith
What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus? In this session we explore the relationship between call, vocation and discipleship in today’s church and world.
SESSION 5 SHARED LEARNING MORNING
Discussions , Case Studies & Assignments
In this session we will discuss some of our thoughts from Sessions 2-4, look at some case studies from the bible and talk about the Assignments. Click on the picture to access the Zoom link and all other information for the Study Day.

Everyday Faith and the Church: Laity
What does it mean to be a 'lay person' in the Church? This session looks at the change in emphasis in the church more broadly, towards God’s call to everyone to participate in ‘ministry’.
SESSION 7
Everyday Faith and the Priesthood of All Believers
In this session we look at the imperative to us to be a kingdom of priests to our God.
SESSION 8
Everyday Faith and Ministry: Reader Ministry
There are a number of so-called ‘authorised’ functions in the CofE. These include Readers. This session will introduce you to key ideas in Reader ministry.
SESSION 9
Everyday Faith and Ministry: Ordination
This session looks at the call to ordained ministry. Ordination is a process, and this session looks at the various aspects of a call to ordination.
SESSION 10 SHARED LEARNING MORNING
Called to Continue
In this session we will explore how your thinking about your own calling as part of the people of God in the world and the church might have changed over the course of this module. We will reflect on how we might continue to grow and develop as the people of God wherever we find ourselves placed.
