I am really looking forward to gathering once again on 18th March for our final Study day. I shall endeavour to have the zoom room open by 8:40 so if you want to join early to chat you can do.
Brief plan of the day is now available via the website. I do have some questions planned for the day, but am more than happy for these to be abandoned to focus on what you would find really helpful. So, have a read and write those questions down and we can explore them together.
Dawn Glenn the Director of Studies will be joining us briefly as well, so you can meet her and ask her any questions you like about Diocesan Lay Training more generally.
Any queries do let me know.
Susie
Thank you Susie.
I've got the plan for the morning ready and am steadily catching up on the sessions.
I hope to join everybody from a travel lodge down south - internet and wifi permitting!
I am attending a wedding that day but hope to see everyone for at least a couple of hours if at all possible.
The wonders of zoom!
Tracey
Hi Susie, thanks for this, looking forward to it. After working through session 9 and ordination, I wondered if you would be willing to share some of your experiences in our session next week - about what you think the skills and gifts are to become ordained, the 'process' you went through to become ordained and some of the challenges you face today as an ordained minister? It would be really helpful to hear from someone who has been through ordination (I'll be asking our priest in charge as part of my interview 😀 ).
